Macro Lens Photography Course (2 Days)

Are you obsessed on finding the marine life that hides in the reef? Macro photography is for those passionate about the tiny little critters. The ocean is full of marvelous life and we all know that good things come in small packages. Learn how to find and slowly approach the little neighbors of the reef without spooking them. Cozumel is rich in the little details, so it plays into your advantage to create outstanding artistic images. Compose fish portraits with personality and expression, shoot corals from close up, find those tiny shrimps and bring up those vibrant colors in darkness with artificial lighting. Macro photography is tricky when performed under the natural currents of Cozumel, so during your first day, after a morning theoretical lesson, we will perform a shallow and long shore dive. That will give you the possibility of practicing our macro skills. On the second day we will perform 2 morning boat dives and during the afternoon we will have a post processing session.

At all moments your photo pro instructor will be guiding you, both on land and underwater.

This course is designed for someone who already has some experience of underwater photography, otherwise we recommend taking the Intro to Underwater Photography Course.

We offer the possibility of renting a professional DSLR underwater system composed by:
Nikon d90, Subal housing with Airlock, Subal flat port, 60mm macro lens and a pair of Inon Z330 strobes with Inon diffusers connected through fiber optics.
